Selection tips
- Polyester with PU coating is the value choice; for permanent outdoor use step up to solution-dyed acrylic.
- Ask for colour-fastness and strength retention after 300-500 h of xenon testing, not a claim of UV resistance.
- A vented double top drops wind pressure sharply and should be standard on large canopies.
- Thread and seam tape matter as much as the fabric: the best cloth leaks through a bad seam.

Weaving and dyeing
Supply chain / partnersFabric is woven and dyed by the supply chain. For a parasol the specification is UV-driven: colour fastness to light is bought here, not tested in later.

Cutting and sewing
Supply chain / partnersPanels are cut and sewn, seams are sealed, and pocket sleeves for the ribs are formed. On a parasol the seam is under near-constant tension, so seam strength is checked alongside leakage.

UV performance check
