Selection tips

  • Rotation damping comes from the washer and preload: loose and it swings by itself, tight and it will not turn.
  • Zinc body, stainless pin, nylon washer as the wear part: make the washer replaceable and the joint lasts.
  • Add a dust step at the shaft exit: these joints fill with grit outdoors and then grind.
  • Against a plastic joint: use zinc where the joint carries load, PA66+GF only for pure positioning.

    Qinxi owns the joint model and die. A cantilever swings a large canopy through 360 degrees, so the rotation bore and the locking collar geometry are fixed at the design stage.

    De-gating, deburring and polishing

    Gates and flash are removed and the visible faces are polished in-house. This is part of the die-casting cell, not a separate finishing supplier.

    Plating or coating

    Coating is applied by the supply chain and checked for thickness and corrosion; a rotation joint that corrodes solid turns the parasol into a fixed shade.
