Swivel Hook (360-degree rotary hook)

A hook with a 360-degree swivel eye, used to hang a bag from a chair, rail or strap and let it rotate so it does not twist the webbing. The body is a stamped, wire-formed or cast metal part with a bought-in spring; Qinxi has no stamping, cold-heading or spring line, so the whole fitting is sourced from the supply chain.

Selection tips

  • Match the hook throat to the rail or strap it hangs from; an undersized throat will not fit, an oversized one slips off.
  • Specify the load rating: a bag hook that opens under its own weight is a reliability failure, not just a cosmetic one.
  • Ferrous versions trigger garment needle detectors; for 100% needle-detected markets use brass or non-magnetic stainless.
  • EU skin-contact items need nickel-free plating to meet REACH nickel-release limits.

    Stamping / wire forming / casting of the hook

    The hook body is blanked, bent or cast and the gate is machined. Qinxi has no stamping, cold-heading or casting line, so this is done by the supply chain to the agreed dimensions and plating.

    Spring fit and plating

    A bought-in spring is fitted and the part is plated. Plating is outsourced to the supply chain; coating thickness and corrosion are verified against the agreed specification.

    Swivel and pull test

    Supply chain / partners

    The swivel eye is rotated and the hook is pulled to an agreed load to confirm the eye does not bind and the hook does not open under load. Supplied and tested by the supply chain, with Qinxi spot-checking.
