Square Buckle / Rectangle Buckle
A rectangular frame with one open side that a strap threads through to adjust or anchor it. Used on bag straps, belt ends and workwear loops. A zinc die-cast frame takes a logo and shaped corners and is made in-house; stamped or wire versions are flatter and cheaper and come from the supply chain.

Selection tips
- Choose die-cast for a visible branded buckle and stamped/wire for a plain functional one; both share the same slot-width logic.
- The strap must sit flat in the slot: a slot that is too narrow jams, too wide and the buckle twists under load.
- Ferrous stamped versions trigger garment needle detectors; specify brass or non-magnetic stainless for 100% needle-detected markets.
- EU skin-contact items need nickel-free plating to meet REACH nickel-release limits.

Qinxi owns the 3D model and the die for the zinc die-cast buckle, so this version is made in-house. A stamped or wire-formed version is also offered; Qinxi has no stamping or cold-heading line, so that version is sourced from the supply chain. The route is fixed at enquiry stage.

The buckle frame is die cast on Qinxi's own line, de-gated and tumbled. The slot walls are the wear surface, so fill at the slot roots and flash at the opening are checked rather than only the outer face.

Stamping / wire forming (supply-chain version)
Supply chain / partnersStamped or wire-formed buckles are blanked and bent at the joint. Qinxi has no stamping or cold-heading line, so this version is supplied by the supply chain to the same slot width and plating specification.

Parts are de-gated, deburred and tumble-polished. This is part of the die-casting process and is done in-house.

Plating
Supply chain / partnersPlating is outsourced to Qinxi's finishing partners and verified for thickness and corrosion against the agreed specification.

Strap-fit and pull check
Supply chain / partnersFinished buckles are threaded with the production webbing and pulled to an agreed load. For the die-cast version this is Qinxi's own incoming check; for the supply-chain version it is the supplier's test with Qinxi spot-checking.
